Thomistic Institute Podcast

Thomistic Institute

Based at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., the Thomistic Institute says its mission is to promote truth by strengthening the intellectual formation of Christians at universities and beyond. Its podcast throws open the lecture hall doors, sharing talks by Dominican friars and other scholars given at campuses in the United States and abroad.

The range is wide: arguments for God's existence, the soul, Christ, the sacraments, moral questions, science and faith, the virtues, and the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas. Many of the talks were given to university audiences that included skeptics, so they tend to be clear and rigorous, and many episodes keep the Q&A at the end, where the hard questions come.

It suits intellectually curious inquirers, students and graduates, and catechists who want deeper grounding in the Catholic intellectual tradition. Pick a lecture on the question that's bugging you and listen as you would to a good class.
